Robert B. Davis
Robert is a Principal of Equilibre Capital.
Robert brings a background in investment banking and private equity, and experience on both the buy and sell sides of over $6 billion of private equity and corporate M&A transaction. His transaction participation experience includes a wide range of sectors including; wireless communication infrastructure, renewable energy, industrial distributors, packaging, manufacturing, mining, natural resources, and healthcare services sectors.
Prior to joining Equilibre, Robert spent 2012 to 2016 as an Associate of Titan Grove Holdings, the private investment group of the founders of Fir Tree Partners, a 22-year-old multi-strategy global investment firm with approximately $13 billion of capital under management. At Titan Grove, Robert was focused on making private equity investments in small-to-medium sized growth oriented and distressed companies. Prior to joining Titan Grove, Robert worked as an investment banker at Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 2008 to 2012, where he spent time as an Associate and Analyst in the Industrials Banking & Corporate Derivative groups. At both firms he played integral roles in the execution of principal investments and, with responsibilities including leading roles in deal execution, valuation and strategic planning teams, arranging and negotiating committed acquisition financing, managing due diligence processes and operating partners, and supporting the negotiation of sale and purchase agreements.
Robert received his BA in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario with full honors.
